Annie Weis broke a scoreless game on a direct free kick from 30 yards to spark Cate’s girls soccer team to a 3-0 win over Dunn.
Two minutes later, Mabel Sabina made it 2-0 off a corner kick from Weis.
Weis added a third goal late in the second-half.
Grace Gail earned the shutout in goal and had one spectacular flying ninja-like save, said coach Lisa Holmes.
Freshmen Ali Visher and Ellen Lempres played exceptionally well, earning their varsity stripes with tenacious defense, Holmes said.
