There was a three-goal pile-up at Laguna Blanca on Saturday, as Cate’s girls soccer team took home a 3-0 Condor League victory from Hope Ranch.

Addison Mayfield, Marguerite Mannix and Annie Weis scored for Cate, which improves its league record to 2-0. Cate is 3-4 overall.

“I’m just super-proud of them for how hard they played,” said Rams head coach Lisa Holmes.

Mayfield’s goal came off a throw-in from Georgie Walker and Weis provided the assist on Mannix’s score.

Cate plays Thacher next on Wednesday while the Owls play Thacher the following Wednesday.
