Carter Grant went on a scoring rampage, pouring in 10 goals to power Carpinteria to a 20-4 romp over Nordhoff in a Tri-Valley League girls water polo match.
Grant scored six goals in the first half, as the Warriors built an 11-4 lead.
“Everything was working great,” Carpinteria coach Brian Swarm said.
Hope Grant, Roxanne Hugo and Gabi Garcia each scored three goals for the Warriors (11-3, 4-0 TVL).
Carpinteria next plays at perennial league power Malibu in a battle of league unbeatens.
“Hopefully, we an compete with them this year,” said Swarm.
