Buena made it 2-for-2 against Dos Pueblos in the Channel League this season, carding a 60-49 victory over the Chargers in Ventura.
The Bulldogs held the lead the entire second half and were led in scoring by Connor Mcguire’s 19 points.
Jay Larinan was Dos Pueblos’ leading scorer with 13 points and Robert Cid tallied 10. Both Larinan and Cid hauled in nine rebounds. Isaac Gomez was third on the team in scoring with eight points.
The Chargers fall into a third-place tie with San Marcos at 3-4 while Buena is 5-2. The Bulldogs and Chargers meet for the third time on February 8.
