Bickett helps Owls tear into Lions

Laguna Blanca’s Brandon Bickett had the hot hand in the first quarter and went on to score a team-high 16 points for the victorious Owls, who defeated Providence Hall 69-52 on Monday in merovick Gym.

Bickett led four Owls in double figures as Logan Elder posted 13, JT Aubrey 12 and Andrew Vignolo 10. Justin Shand collected 10 rebounds and Troy Ritter eight.

The Lions were paced in scoring by Nate Dutcher with 17. JT Royston tallied 14 and Erik Sheets had 13.

Laguna’s record improves to 6-5 overall while the Lions’ falls to 5-5 after the non-league matchup.
