Tess Emerson put on a dominating performance in the first half and Zoe Echternacht played a solid game to help the Santa Barbara High girls basketball team defeat Cabrillo 60-22 at the Lompoc Tournament.
Emerson scored 13 points in the first half and had 17 points and 10 rebounds by halftime. She finished with 21 points. Echternacht grabbed nine rebounds, blocked two shots and scored six points. Ivette Gil chipped in 10 points.
The Dons face crosstown rival Dos Pueblos in the final game of the round-robin tournament on Saturday.
