Dos Pueblos’ pressing defense overwhelmed Cabrillo and the result was a 66-11 blowout win by the Chargers in an opening game at the Lompoc girls basketball tournament.
The Chargers (2-0) forced 22 turnovers and capitalized on most of them.
Chiara DiMarco led four DP players in double figures with 14 points. Jasmine Mata added 11 points and Talitha Draper and Kristin Gowdy chipped in 10 points apiece.
