Santa Barbara High’s water polo team is back in the Top-10 of CIF Division I, finding itself in the No. 8 position when this week’s polls were released on Monday.
Dos Pueblos also gained ground, moving back to No. 5. The Chargers had fallen to No. 7 last week.
Santa Barbara High’s girls volleyball team moved to the fringe of the Top-10 in Div. I-AA rankings. The Dons placed fifth at the weekend’s Tournament of Champions, going 3-1 with wins over No. 4 Newport Harbor and NorCal’s Cathedral Catholic.
The girls tennis teams of Santa Barbara High and Cate remained in the spots they’ve been most of the season. The Dons are No. 3 in Division II while the Rams are No. 4 in Division IV.
Cate’s 8-man football team reached a season-high No. 2 ranking in Division I. The Rams (7-0) finish up their regular season at No. 6 Thacher on Saturday with the Condor League title on the line.
