San Marcos' Caitlin Mannix won 2-of-3 sets on Tuesday in a Channel League win over Dos Pueblos.

Jordan Lund was the difference maker.

She dug deep and pulled out an improbable victory in the final set of the day to boost San Marcos to a 10-8 win over Dos Pueblos in a Channel League girls tennis match on Tuesday.

Lund saved two set and match points to complete a rally from a 5-1 deficit.

“She won six straight games. It was impressive, very impressive,” said San Marcos coach Jarrod Bradley.

Had Lund lost to DP’s Lea Tran-Le the match would have ended in a 9-9 tie in sets, and the Chargers would have prevailed on total games.

Lauren Stratman continued her unbeaten streak in singles for Dos Pueblos. The junior has never lost a high school match.

San Marcos continued to get solid play in doubles. The teams of Christine Pearson-Amy  Ransohoff and Parisa Fallahi-Liz Morris both went 3-0 against the Chargers.
