Faith Emerson’s 23 kills and Lacey Gonzales’ 22 assists led the Providence Hall girls volleyball team to a dramatic five-set win on Saturday, as the Lions leapt over visiting Ojai Valley 25-19, 25-22, 18-25, 28-30, 16-14.
Hannah Park had 10 aces for Providence Hall, including a 9-point service run in the second set that helped the hosts rally from an 8-point deficit.
Providence Hall, now 4-5, plays Hillcrest Christian on Thursday.
