Santa Barbara continued its hot play on the golf course Thursday, shooting its best score at Montecito Country Club in a Channel League win over Buena.
The Dons fired a 239 to Buena’s 266 at Montecito.
“It was eight shots better than our previous best score there,” said coach Ryan Throop.
Haley True was the match medalist with a 45. Olivia Fanaro and Sarah Kirkwood were next with 47s and Saralisa Ortega was a stroke back at 48.
Santa Barbara (13-3, 5-0) can wrap up the outright league title with wins over San Marcos and Dos Pueblos next week.
