Yue Cui won the only set of the day for Bishop Diego on Tuesday in a 17-1 girls tennis loss.
“She tried so hard, and actually almost won another set. She was definitely our superstar today,” said coach Suzanne Petrie of the Chinese exchange student.
The Cardinals (0-7) play at Santa Paula on Thursday.
