Emily Fox helped the Dos Pueblos girls golf team get off to a positive start of the season Tuesday, shooting a 3-over par 39 in a 229-238 non-league win over Valencia at Valencia Country Club.
Fox, in her fourth year in the starting lineup, is a returning All-Channel League player.
Junior Vanesa Villa, a three-year starter and an all-leaguer last year, fired a 44. Rounding out the DP scores were Paige Brannerman (46), Hanna Nolan (49) and Grace Jeong (51).
The Chargers are back in action Thursday against Righetti at Rancho Maria Golf Course.
