Santa Ynez’s Kristin Henno fired an even-par 37 at Santa Barbara Golf Club on Wednesday to lead the Pirates girls golf squad to a 290-214 victory over San Marcos.
The Royals were led once again by Alexandria Peretiako, who shot 43. The Royals have now played two matches and shot the same team score in each.
“Both freshman Brittany (Peretiako) and Melissa (Jewkes) are hitting the ball well and are starting to manage their play on the course better each day,” said coach Shawn Ricci. “Alexandria continues to play consistent golf and posted a great score.”
Next up is Oxnard, followed by the start of Channel League play.
