Dos Pueblos ran up against a red-hot Righetti squad and suffered a 192-211 loss in a non-league girls golf match at Rancho Maria Golf Course.
The host Warriors were paced by a stellar nine-hole performance from Makayla Mier. She fired a 4-under par 31 on a windless day in Santa Maria. Marion Smith was four shots back at 35 for the defending PAC-7 champions.
Emily Fox and Vanesa Villa each shot 38s to pace Dos Pueblos. Rounding out the Charger scores were Bekah Beveridge with a 42, Paige Granneman with a 43 and Grace Jeong at 50.
The Chargers (1-1) play in the Lady Pirate Invitational at the Alisal River Course on Tuesday.
