Dos Pueblos empties bench in 14-4 win over Ventura

Chloe Warriner came off the bench and won a set off Ventura’s No. 1 player to highlight Dos Pueblos’ 14-4 Channel League girls tennis opening win on Thursday at DP.

“That was outstanding,” DP coach Allison Golledge said of Warriner’s 6-4 victory. “We are strong in singles.”

Lauren Stratman cruised in her two sets and the Chargers’ No. 1 doubles team of Rachel Amstoker and Katie O’Brien went 2-0.

Golledge used 18 players in the match. DP improves to 2-1 and 1-0.
