Haley True earned medalist honors and Santa Barbara High shot its lowest score of the year to open Channel League girls golf competition on Tuesday.
The Dons fired a 227 and cruised past Buena (263) at Olivas Links.
I’m really happy with the direction we’re headed,” said Dons coach Ryan Throop. “Haley had her best score of the year and Olivia Fanaro equaled her best with a 41.”
The Dons host San Marcos on Thursday at Montecito Country Club.
