Santa Barbara struggled on a deceiving Spanish Hills Golf Course and suffered a four-shot loss to Rio Mesa in a non-league girls golf match on Tuesday.
Haley True shot an 11-over 46 to lead the Dons (5-3). The other Santa Barbara scores were: Olivia Fanaro 47, Saralisa Ortega 50, Sarah Kirkwood 51, Allisa Crane 52.
Rio Mesa’s Allison Stymacher was the match medalist with a 45.
Santa Barbara is back in action Wednesday against Pacifica at River Ridge GC.
