Bishop Diego falls short against Santa Clara

Bishop Diego lost a couple of close matches and that was the difference in a 10-8 loss to Santa Clara in a girls tennis match on Thursday.

“It was a really close match,” said Bishop Diego coach Suzanne Petrie. “Mary Lu Bailey and Yazmine Guzman lost in a tiebreaker at No.1 doubles.”

Emily Duncan also lost two close sets at No. 1 singles.

Bishop Diego falls to 0-4.
