Adrienne Binder continued her winning ways at Nite Moves on Wednesday as she captured the 1-kilometer swim and was the first woman finisher in the aquathon at Leadbetter Beach.
Binder was coming off a victory in the Santa Barbara Triathlon coed sprint event on Sunday.
Her time in the 1-k swim was 13:16, just five seconds ahead of 13-year-old Walker Bell.
Binder’s time in the aquathon (1k swim, 5k run) was 39:54, which was good for seventh place overall.
The aquathon winner was Goleta’s Stepan Paul in 36:25. Camarillo’s Jim Avrea (36:57) and Norbert Hoehne (36:59) were second and third, respectively.
In the 5-k run, Sebastian Hoenig of Santa Barbara kept a fast past and won in 16:28. Tyler Hansen was second (17:15) and J.P. Jackson of Solvang placed third (17:50).
