Barrera named to Soccer America preseason squad

UCSB junior Danny Barrera has been named to his second Preseason All-American team.

Soccer America picked Barrera as one of its eight midfielders on the 25-player squad.
The Gaucho playmaker was earlier honored by College Soccer News.

The Soccer America team is led by four player from top-ranked Akron: defender Kofi Sarkodie, defender Zarek Valentin, midfielder Anthony Ampaipitakwong and forward Darlington Nagbe.

The only other teams with multiple selections are defending champion Virginia, North Carolina, Notre Dame and Tulsa with two apiece.
