The Goleta Valley South Little League 10-under All-Stars got into the Fourth of July spirit by swinging sizzling bats on Saturday.
Every batter reached base safely at least once in a 17-1 rout of Ventura Coast in a District 63 tournament pool play game.
Evan Kling belted a double that just missed clearing the fence. Catcher Sam Drew threw out a runner attempting to steal third and pitchers Kevin Baker and Isaac Oh turned in solid efforts to help Goleta Valley South improve to 3-0 in pool play.
Goleta Valley South is back in action Tuesday night against Carpinteria at Montalvo Little League.
