Junior High surf team dominates ISF’s Channel League

The Santa Barbara Junior High School surf team finished a stellar season recently in the Channel League of the Interscholastic Surf Federation.

The team took first place overall in the team competition as well as first in boys shortboard, first in boys longboard and first in co-ed bodyboard.

In boys shortboard, five of the top seven surfers in Channel League were SBJH groms with Dryden Brown placing 2nd, Jack Keough 3rd, Foster Campbell 4th, Tucker Ingalls 5th and Gabe Grandcolas 7th.

In boys longboard, Evan Trauntvein finished in the top spot in league with Jack Keough a close 2nd.  In bodyboard, Tucker Ingalls took top honors with Gabe Grandcolas 3rd and Daniel Davis 5th.
