Rams maintain Condor supremacy

Cate’s boys tennis team showed why it’s undefeated in the Condor League on Saturday, nearly cleaning house in a 16-2 victory over Laguna Blanca even without its best player.

The Rams, No. 5 in CIF Division IV,  improve to 4-0 in league and 7-4 overall.

Austin Lokre and Ahmed Bou-Rabee  swept three sets each in singles while the doubles team of Gregory Mak and Jason Park produced a clean sweep. No other Cate doubles team played three sets but Rohit Gotswamy and Omar Khurshid won the two sets they did play.

The Owls recorded set wins by Max Hong in singles and the Peter Sorensen-Justin Shand combo in doubles.

The Rams’ next match is Wednesday against Dunn.
