Steph Ruys de Perez had three goals and Annie Weis added a goal and an assist, but the Cate girls lacrosse team fell to visiting powerhouse Beckman of Irvine 12-5 on Saturday. The Rams (4-5, 2-1 Condor League) played even with the visitors in the second half, 5-5.
Aleix Hill also scored a goal, while Alex Temena had seven saves in the net. Cate hosts Laguna Blanca on Wednesday.
