No. 7 Rams rattle third-ranked Pirates

Take that, CIF polls.

Cate’s seventh-ranked boys tennis team crushed visiting No. 3 Santa Ynez on Saturday, 13-5. The Pirates’ Miles Seemann wne 3-0 in singles but the Rams won all the rest. In doubles, Rohit Goswamy and Chris Lin went 3-0, taking two sets by 6-0 scores and winning the third in a tiebreaker.

The regular season is almost over for the Rams (9-4), who face No. 1 Viewpoint on Wednesday before finishing up against Thacher and San Marcos.
