Handley gives Chargers more than most

Sean Handley was the only Charger to play more than one set on Monday and he made the most of it, taking both for Dos Pueblos in a 11-7 Channel League victory over Buena.

The Chargers were staked three sets to start the match as Buena could not field a third team. DP took 5 of the 6 doubles sets that were played, highlighted by Ziyad Marcus and Michael Baik winning their set 6-0 and the freshmen team of William Bermant and Kyle Riharb claiming theirs 7-5.

The victory evens Dos Pueblos’ Channel League record at 3-3 the day before a key league match with San Marcos.
