Thacher was just too tough on defense for Cate’s girls basketball team on Wednesday, beating the Rams 27-17 in their season finale. The good news for Cate (6-7, 3-3 Condor League) is that two of their starters, Katrina Von Burg and Grace Dickman, are just freshmen and will continue to lead the program in seasons to come.
Dickman led the Rams with five points against the Toads.
