Annie Weis and Brennan Cusack made an even trade on Thursday, exchanging assists for goals in a 2-0 CIF Division-VI playoff victory over visiting La Puente.
Weis scored first for the Rams in the seventeenth minute. The cross came from Cusack, who scored seven minutes later on a pass from Weis.
Addison Mayfield and Georgie Walker were a big part of Cate’s backfield that almost didn’t need a goalkeeper, as Grace Gail only touched the ball two times.
