Dos Pueblos was crushed by Buena’s girls basketball team 66-28 at home on Thursday night, but the strong return of Jessica Escalante has been encouraging.

The sophomore hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points in just her second game back after missing most of the season with a knee injury. Kristen Gowdy played well in the post, scoring eight points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
