Dos Pueblos’ boys soccer started a two-week break with a bad taste in its mouth, dropping a 2-0 decision at Pacifica on Tuesday.

It was the second straight day that the Chargers failed to score and the loss dropped their record to 3-2-4. The next game on the schedule for DP is Oxnard on Dec. 29 at the Buena Tournament.

The Tritons struck first in the 18th minute by knocking in a loose ball in front of the net. Pacifica doubled its lead in the 61st minute in what Chargers head coach Tovi Eliasen called, “a very deserving goal.”

Dos Pueblos, on the other hand, has been struggling to find the back of the net, recording only one goal in its past three games.

“I’m interested to see the reaction of the guys, to see how our guys respond,” Eliasen said.
