Chargers frustrated by elusive goal

Despite a bevy of shots, Dos Pueblos’ boys soccer team was starved for goals on Monday, settling for a 0-0 draw at Righetti.

The Chargers outshot the Warriors 14-5 and controlled possession without being bale to score.

“Credit to their goalkeeper, who played really well,” said DP head coach Tovi Eliasen. “He stopped some important shots of ours, and the crossbar wasn’t kind to us either.”

Dos Pueblos (3-1-4) travels to Pacifica on Tuesday for its second-straight non-league contest in as many days.
