Elicity Fabing scored two goals in the first half on Saturday and Kelly Deckers added two in the second half, leading the SBCC women’s soccer team to a 4-1 victory over West Valley in Saratoga.
Deckers assisted on the first-half scores in the 37th and 43rd minutes for the Vaqueros (4-1-2). Danielle Jones fed Deckers for a goal from inside the box in the 55th minute and after West Valley converted a penalty kick, Deckers completed the scoring with a left-footed boot after a solid run down the left side.
“We looked very comfortable on a warm day,” said SBCC coach John Sisterson. “We passed the ball well and played extremely well.”
The Vaqueros will play their third game in three days on Sunday at Cabrillo
