DP spikers surface on MaxPreps’ national top-25

The Dos Pueblos High girls volleyball team has been ranked No. 7 in the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 national poll.

The Chargers return several players from last year’s squad that lost in the CIF final to crosstown rival Santa Barbara. Among those returnees are senior twins Carly and Samantha Wopat, who both have committed to Stanford. Carly, a 6-2 middle blocker, and Samantha, a 6-1 outside hitter, played with the U.S. Youth National Team this summer.
