Nicole Bullemer turned in an even-par round at Buenaventura Golf Course on Tuesday, setting an example her team followed as the Dos Pueblos girls golf team recorded its season-low in a 191-233 Channel League win over Buena.
Vanesa Villa scored a 2-over 37 and freshman Bekah Beveridge lowered her career best by a handful of strokes with a 38. Emily Fox also broke 40 with a 39 and Grace Jeong rounded out the top-5 with a 42.
“We’re really happy with where we’re at,” said Chargers coach Dan Choi, who was leading the team in place of head coach Rob Schiff.
DP upped its record to 7-0, 3-0 in league and San Marcos next on the schedule for Thursday.
The Chargers’ previous season low was a 192 against Santa Ynez, which carded a 197 that day.
