Kyle Geary went the distance on the mound and was 2-for-4 with two RBIs and a run scored Thursday as the Carpinteria baseball team picked up a 10-4 win at Malibu to clinch a tie for third in the Tri-Valley League.
“I guess this week couldn’t have gone any better for us, because we won both games and it shows that we’re still playing good baseball,” said coach Pat Cooney.
Diego Carrillo was 2-for-2 with a pair of runs and two more batted in, while Steven Blum also had a pair of hits with a run scored and an RBI.
The Warriors will play in a wild-card game on Tuesday.
