Harris handles Royals as Chargers snap skid

The Dos Pueblos softball team snapped a three-game losing streak with a 7-0 Channel League win over San Marcos on Tuesday, as Hannah Harris seized control of the game from the pitcher’s circle and didn’t let go.

Harris pitched seven innings and gave up only two hits to the Royals. At the plate, Harris knocked in two runs with a triple.

Kristen Kolegraff went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Jada Alexander had 2 RBIs and two hits. Krista Martony and Marisa Radeke both had a pair of hits.

“I give Hannah credit for her pitching. We only had two hits, and one of ’em only went about 12-feet,” said Royals coach Alex Sheldon.

The Chargers host Pacifica on Wednesday for their last game of the Pacific View Tournament.
