Joe Gottwald and Isaac Thompson combined for 10 aces Friday as the Cate boys volleyball team served visiting Nordhoff off the court, 25-14, 25-20, 15-25, 25-21.
“They just really couldn’t handle our serving. They had some big guys, but I think they’re biggest guy was having an off-night,” said Rams coach Dan Terry.
Gottwald added 19 digs and seven kills to his four aces, while Thompson dished out 25 assists to go with his six aces.
The Rams (3-2, 2-1 Condor League) play OVS at Thacher on Saturday.
