The tables were turned on the Cate girls lacrosse team on Saturday as Foothill came from behind to knock off the undefeated Rams 12-11 in Orange County.
The Knights avenged a 9-8 loss to the Rams earlier this month in the final of Rose Bowl Tournament by coming back from a 6-3 halftime deficit.
Tori Thompson led the Rams in the scoring column with seven goals and Alexx Temena collected 24 saves defending Cate’s net. Shelby DeGroot recorded a team-high four assists.
The Rams take the field again on Wednesday in a league game against Dunn to be played on the Mesa.
