Freshman Austin Lokre had a breakout match for the Cate boys tennis team Friday, sweeping his sets 6-3, 6-0, 6-1 to lead the Rams to an 18-0 blowout of visiting St. Bonaventure.
Junior Cam Seo won his two sets 6-0, 6-1 while Van Som came in and nabbed a 6-0 victory.
The level of tennis will rise significantly Monday when San Luis Obispo pays a visit. The Rams are 2-1 on the year, with the loss coming against powerhouse Santa Barbara.
