Individual Match Summaries 
Bak Dor 2 [6] at Monty’s 1 [9] 
Jesse Oliver ran his winning streak to 6 games, leading Monty’s 1 (8-10) to a 9-6 victory over visiting Bak Dor 2 and moving Monty’s into 6th place in A Division. Trailing 3-1, Bak Dor was able to tie the score at 3-3, but Monty’s won 5 of the next 6 games to clinch the match. Monty’s Josue Solis scored his first-ever league table run. Rikki Byers and “Super Mario” Reyes both had two wins to lead Bak Dor, and Byers notched her second table run of the season. 10th place Bak Dor 2 fell to 5-13. 

Break Time 1 [8] at Creekside 1 [7] 
3rd place Break Time 1 (13-5) jumped out to a 6-2 lead at Creekside 1, then barely hung on to post a narrow 8-7 victory. Team leader George Guerrero had three wins to lead Break Time, and George’s captain, Andre Aparicio, scored his third table run of the season. Brian Guajardo, Mike Linetsky, and Ricardo Topete each had two wins for Creekside 1 (8-10), who fell two spots to 8th place. 

Cliff Room 1 [8] at Tiburon Tavern [7] 
Cliff Room 1 built an early 5-2 lead at winless Tiburon Tavern and weathered a furious Tiburon comeback to post an 8-7 victory. David Clark and Pat Wieser’s combined six wins were the difference for 7th place Cliff Room 1 (8-10), who are now a single game behind 6th place Monty’s 1. Craig Keefer, Josette DeSoto, and Kevin Rehak each had two wins for last place Tiburon Tavern (0-18). 

Cliff Room 3 [9] at Moose Lodge [6] 
11th place Cliff Room 3 (5-13) scored their second huge upset win in the last 5 weeks as they hunted down 5th place Moose Lodge, 9-6. Cliff Room took control of this macth from the start and never let up, winning 9 of the first 12 games. Chris Smith had a table run and captain Keith Baugher had three wins to lead Cliff Room. Jorge Guerrero and Chuy Martinez paced the Moose with two wins each. With the loss, the Moose Lodge fell to 11-7. The Moose hope to make a charge in the next four weeks as their upcoming opponents have a combined 14-58 record. 

Old King’s Road 2 [5] at Sportsman 1 [10] 
Chris “The Ripper” Ackler had three wins and a break-and-run to climb into a 2nd place tie in A Division and lead his Sportsman 1 crew to a 10-5 win at home against Old King’s Road 2. The “Hellcat”, Leana Finley, also had three wins for 4th place Sportsman 1 (12-6). Sportsman 1 jumped out to an early lead and had the match won before the beer frame. Captain Eric Kaiser led 9th place Old King’s Road 2 (5-13) with two wins. 

Break Time 2 [9] at Old Town Tavern [6] 
Dennis Nupdal had his first three-win night in 13 weeks, leading Break Time 2 to a 9-6 at Old Town Tavern. Break Time sprinted out to a 4-0 lead, and despite three wins by Old Town captain Jay Younger, Old Town could not recover. With the win, Break Time 2 (6-12) moved up one spot to 7th place. 10th place Old Town Tavern fell to 4-14. 

Carp Billiards [2] at Cliff Room 4 [13] 
Cliff Room’s Fahim Azizi had three wins and his third table run and visiting Cliff Room 4 annihilated Carp Billiards, 13-2, and became the first B Division team to clinch a playoff spot. Peter Tagles, Maurice Elias, and Murray Peden also had three wins for 1st place Cliff Room 4 (16-2). Colin Clayton rolled in his second table run of the season for last-place Carp Billiards (3-15). 

Creekside 2 [5] at Break Time 5 [10] 
Break Time 5 moved up to 2nd place in B Division with a 10-5 win at home against Creekside 2. This win was more difficult than it appeared. Break Time 5 was trailing 9th place Creekside 2 after nine games but was able to run out the string. Break Time’s Ed Martin led all scorers with three wins. Andrew Wood led 9th place Creekside 2 (5-13) with two wins. After starting the season 6-39, Wood has won 5 of his last 6 games. 

Endless Summer [2] at Cliff Room 2 [13] 
Team leader Brandon Teris had three wins and his seventh table run of the season in Cliff Room 2’s 13-2 spanking of Endless Summer. Endless Summer was short one player, but that hardly mattered as Cliff Room was on their game. Nick Doerr and Brendan Mackey also had three wins for 6th place Cliff Room 2 (11-7). Adam Priddy and Nick Conforti scored the lone Endless Summer game wins. With the loss, Endless Summer (6-12) fell to 8th place. 

Sportsman 2 [7] at Old King’s Road 1 [8] 
Sportsman 2 made a valiant effort to come from behind after trailing 5-1 at Old King’s Road 1, but Anthony Saenz and crew fell one game short and lost 8-7. OKR’s Sam Auchincloss was the difference as he had his first three-win night since November 11th. Saenz, Adriana Vega, and Nate Hill each had two wins for 11th place Sportsman 2 (3-15). Saenz’s second win was a table run, his second run in two weeks. This win was huge for Old King’s Road 1 (14-4) as it helped them climb two spots to 3rd place in B Division. 

Monty’s 3 [5] at Don Q’s 1 [10] 
In the first of two premiere inter-division matchups, host Don Q’s 1 finished strong to pull away from Monty’s 3, winning 10-5. The first half of this match was back-and-forth, and the teams were tied 4-4 after eight games. Jim Holloway and Brent Boone then posted back-to-back table runs, and Don Q’s rode the momentum into the beer frame, winning 6 of the last 7 games. Boone led Don Q’s with three wins and his table run. Teammate Robert Rosa also had three wins, maintaining his slim lead in the A Division points race. Kerry Randolph led Monty’s with two wins. 1st place Don Q’s 1 clinched a playeoff spot and improved their league-leading record to 17-1. With the loss, Monty’s 3 (13-5) fell to 5th place. 

Don Q’s 2 [7] at Monty’s 2 [8] 
The two division 2nd place teams locked horns at Monty’s as Monty’s 2 hosted Don Q’s 2. Team leader Andres Cortes had three wins and Monty’s was able to come-from behind and edge Don Q’s, 8-7. Don Q’s Peter Garcia got his team on the board first with a table run in game 1, but Vicente Mosqueda answered with a break-and-run in game 2, sparking Monty’s to a four-game run and a 4-1 lead. Ken Hilton helped Don Q’s tie the score at 4-4 with his first-ever league break-and-run. Cortes then won his second game to put Monty’s back on top, but Don Q’s charged to the hill at 7-5 with three straight wins. Monty’s Alfonso Lazaro, Cortes, and Mundo Burques each won their last games to give Monty’s the victory. 2nd place Monty’s 2 (16-2) extended their winning streak to nine matches. Don Q’s 2 (13-5) had their winning streak end at seven matches, and they also fell two spots in the standings to 4th place..
