Connor Gray scored a team-high 10 points Saturday, but the Laguna Blanca boys basketball team was outsized by 6-foot-8 Yannic Atanga and Besant Hill, losing 66-47 in the third round of the Bishop Diego/Laguna Blanca Tournament.
The Owls (2-2) fell to eventual tournament-champion Blair 74-50 on Friday night.
Atanga scored 24 points against the Owls, who don’t have a player taller than 5-foot-11. Luther Tarver-Burks scored nine points for the Owls, and Connor Murphy was named to the All-Tournament team.
