Chargers stopped in tracks by ‘Man Child’

The Dos Pueblos boys basketball team couldn’t put a ding in Agoura’s perfect record, falling to the now 7-0 Chargers 70-48 at the Oak Park Tournament on Thursday.

The Chargers of Goleta were outscored by the bigger, more physical Chargers of Agoura in every quarter.

Malik Heptot and Robert Vickers scored 21 together but weren’t able to get much inside against Agoura’s 6-foot-6, 305-pound center Kevin Graf.

“He’s a man-child down low,” said DP assistant Jeff Zamora of the future USC lineman.

Agoura came out pressing DP, and Zamora said the defensive pressure forced some costly turnovers that the Chargers didn’t recover from.

Dos Pueblos (3-4) plays the winner of Hueneme and Santa Paula at 6 p.m.
