Brendan Kerwin-McElroy and Jason Masho put up big numbers outside the scoring column to lead the Dons water polo team to a 9-1 halftime lead over San Marcos and ultimately a 13-6 Channel League win.
Kerwin-McElroy handed out five assists and Masho stole five balls. The two also combined for three goals.
Paul Davis and Nick Sklar also led Santa Barbara, which faces Dos Pueblos for the league title on Thursday, with two goals each.
San Marcos goaltender Travis Johnson had a game-high 15 saves. Mac Gostow scored three times for the Royals, who bounced back in the third quarter to outscore the Dons in the second half.
