The San Marcos girls golf team headed down to Buena Ventura GC on Tuesday for a Channel League matchup with Ventura except that the Cougars didn’t have a full team.
Despite the forfeit and the automatic league victory, the girls still played out the round on the par-35 course.
San Marcos’ Brianna Wiley had the low round of the day with a 43. Other scorers included Cat Lefemine (45), Alexandria Peretiako (46), Zaira Barbosa (56), and Katie Blum (56). The Royals’ overall team score came in at 246.
