Breakers’ Holiday Classic is free for spectators

The Santa Barbara Breakers are hosting their annual WCBL Holiday Classic on Saturday at the Page Youth Center and in the spirit of giving, attendance is free for all spectators.Games are at 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. as the Breakers host the Newport Beach Surf, West L.A. Breakers take back WCBL title

The Santa Barbara Breakers Professional Basketball team won two games on Saturday to take back the WCBL crown that denied them in 2010, with a resounding 130-108 semi-final win over the Venice Beach Ninja's and four hours later, defeated the West L.A. Breakers open WCBL season with tribute to Ward

Taylor leads Breakers to tournament title

The Santa Barbara Breakers were victorious in claiming the "Who's Next" Classic Basketball Tournament held over the weekend in Lynwood, California. The Santa Barbara Breakers were successful over the weekend winning their Breakers Labor Day Classic with a 104-67 shellacking of the EBL Stars (Entertainment Basketball League) and an 88-73 thumping of the Hollywood Hooptainers.In the 104-67 win, Tournament MVP Josh Stanhiser (7'1 center) scored 15 points; 16 rebounds, dominating the inside at both ends of the floor.
