Santa Barbara Golf Club (Muni)

Home to the Santa Barbara City Championship and Santa Barbara Golf Classic every year, Santa Barbara Golf Club is oftened referred to as “Muni.” It’s 6,037 yards from the back tee with a par of 70. Full Clubhouse includes Pro Shop and Mulligan’s Cafe.

Glen Annie Golf Club

Glen Annie is a public course located in the foothills of Goleta with great mountain and island views. Glen Annie comes replete with a full-service clubhouse and driving range. Glen Annie hosts the Goleta City Championships every March. The course is 6420 yards from the men’s green tee with a slope of 130 and rating of 71.2.

Twin Lakes Golf Course

Twin Lakes is a nine-hole course with mostly par-3 holes. Two of the nine holes stretch out to a par of 4. Twin Lakes also features a driving range with grass tee boxes. PGA Instruction available.

Sandpiper Golf Club

Sandpiper is Santa Barbara’s waterfront gem of a public golf course. While the fees are high to play, the experience can be breathtaking on the right day. Perched a top seaside bluffs on the Gaviota Coast, the 18-hole course features sweeping ocean and mountain views.

Montecito Country Club

Private Country Club in Montecito features 18-hole course designed by Max Behr in 1922. The course, with a rating of 70.6 from the men’s blue, features exceptional greens along with numerous elevation changes and large cypress and eucalyptus trees. Montecito has been the host to PGA Tour and celebrity pro-ams, as well as LPGA events. Private Club but PGA-sanctioned lessons are open to the public.

Rancho San Marcos

Found over the hill in the Santa Ynez Valley, Rancho San Marcos was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and has been open since 1998. The course is 6,939 yards long with a par of 71. Rancho San Marcos has been recognized by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as one of the finest courses in America. Take care of temperatures being 10-15 degrees warmer than in Santa Barbara, especially in the summer.

Ultra-private golf course in Montecito. Course designed by Alister MacKenzie in 1929. 6603 yards at its longest with a rating of 72.4 and par of 72.

Birnam Wood

Private Club in Montecito. The 18-hole course features 5,890 yards of golf for a par of 70. The course rating is 68.7 and it has a slope rating of 121 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1968.
