Chloe Hamer and Camryn Crang had the scoring touch on Wednesday in San Marcos’ 5-0 victory over Righetti.
Each player registered a pair of goals in a match thoroughly dominated by the Royals. Sierra Palladino gave San Marcos its first lead just four minutes into the game on a goal assisted by Hamer.
The San Marcos defensive effort completely stifled Righetti and did not allow a shot on goal. The starting back line featured Danielle Anderson, Natasha Wood, Natalie Widmer and Livia Christen.
The five goals were a season high for the Royals, who move to 3-1-0 for the season. Up next is San Marcos’ own tournament on Friday and Saturday. The Royals take on Salinas at 3:30 p.m. and then play a second match against Santa Ynez starting at 8 p.m.
