Dos Pueblos surged in the second half on Friday, turning a close game into a 65-35 rout of La Reina.
The Chargers fell behind 17-6 in the first quarter before rallying for a slight 27-21 halftime lead. Then in the third quarter Dos Pueblos started to dominate.
Holly Barrera and Camila Casanueva accounted for over half of the Chargers’ offensive output. Barrera’s 20 points were a team high while Casanueva added 19. Lauren Noggle added a 10 point, 10 rebound double-double.
Dos Pueblos, 7-1 on the season, plays Viewpoint on Saturday.
