San Marcos secured a non-league road win on Friday, defeating Workman 53-42 to improve to 6-0 on the season.
Scott Everman scored 20 points and pulled down five rebounds. Tyson Miller posted 13 points and four rebounds.
“Great team win for us,” said Royals coach Landon Boucher. “Thomas Hantgin sprained his ankle in practice and didn’t play, but guys stepped up and contributed. Tyson looked comfortable out there. He played all last year on a torn patellar tendon, and now is healthy and is playing really confident. Every night it is someone else helping us on the offensive end.”
San Marcos’ next game is Tuesday at home versus San Luis Obispo.
